This Privacy Notice explains how SunnyBuck LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of Best Hunting Time at https://besthuntingtime.com, collects, uses, and shares your personal data. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data, except for payment data, which is controlled by our payment processor.

• Account & contact data: name, email address, and phone number that you provide when creating an account or setting up alerts.
• Location data: ZIP codes and location names you save to personalize deer movement predictions. We store the city, state, and coordinates derived from your ZIP code.
• Observation data: deer sighting entries you submit (date, time, count, notes) for your saved locations.
• Alert preferences: your alert on/off settings, chosen channels (email or text), and the contact details to send alerts to.
• Payment & billing data: handled by our payment processor (see below). We do not store your full card number on our servers.
• Usage data: device and access logs that help us keep the Service secure and reliable.

How We Use Your Data

• To generate deer movement predictions and forecasts for the locations you choose;
• To send you movement alert emails or texts when you enable them;
• To create and manage your account and subscription;
• To improve the accuracy of our prediction models using aggregated, de-identified observation data;
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.

How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to operate the Service, and only the minimum required:

• Paddle (payment processing): Your subscription is sold and billed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, or Paddle's relevant contracting entity ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle receives your name, email, billing address, and payment information to process your subscription, issue receipts, handle taxes, and manage refunds and chargebacks. Paddle is a recipient of your personal data for these purposes. Paddle's privacy practices are governed by its own privacy policy.
• Service providers: We use trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, and analytics, who process data on our behalf under contract and only to deliver the Service.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose data when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@besthuntingtime.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Data Retention

We keep your account and observation data for as long as your account is active. After account closure, we retain data only as needed to comply with legal obligations, then delete it. Alert delivery logs are kept for up to 7 days.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and restricted access controls. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
